Inventory

Inventory system controls the stock in all warehouses. It also controls the value of items (cost) in two different ways:
  1. weight average cost
  2. FIFO

  • Inventory Receiving Report (IRR):
To receive a P.O. in a warehouse, we go through two stages:
  1. IRR cardex : done by the warehouse keeper when he receives the goods of a P.O and determines if they match the quantities a stated in the vendor invoice sent with shipment , or if there is extra quantity , wrong item ,......
  2. Final IRR: done by the operation staff,it is quite like a revision for the cordex IRR. In this step the decisions are made to automatically reject or accept the wrong or extra quantity
  • Delivery Notes (DN):
  1. Used to deliver the received goods to the customer
  2. item can be delivered one by one or using a fast way (deliver as it is) this button gets the received items in the specified warehouse
  • Inter office Transfer IOT (IN-OUT):
used to transfer items between warehouses :
  1. IOT out: moves out some items from a warehouse
  2. IOT in : by choosing the number of IOT-out all items will be fetched automatically and moved to the destination warehouse stock
  • Customer Return:
A customer can return an item delivered to him based on an invoice number. Once the invoice number is entered a list of all items in this invoice appears to select one of them
  • Adjustment:
Used to add or remove item to a warehouse stock. There are two cases:
  1. Write Off: This cancels some item(s) from the stock
  2. Correction: It adds some item(s) to the stock with a certain cost
  • Stock Taking:
Takes the stock reading at a certain time for a certain warehouse, displays the stock for all item and the stock value

Notes:
  1. we can query for the stock of any item in any warehouses according to either its number catalog, expire date, serial no. , cost or combination of all the pervious
  2. we can search for items in a certain warehouse

  2. Item Movements
  3. Slow (non-moving) items
  4. warehouse stock
  5. Stock taking Report
